Review of Chungking Express (1994) by Chris S — 29 Dec 2008
Honestly, I am not a fan of Wong Kar-Wai's films so this is so far the only film by Wong Kar-Wai that I love. The loosely connected characters are so eccentric, charming, and complex. The two stories are simple yet the narration makes them more interesting, and the cinematography is amazing.
I love the woman with the eyeglasses, blonde wig and raincoat but I prefer the second story over the first one.
