Review of Chronicle of a Summer (1961) by Kyle A — 24 Sep 2010
It drags a little too much, but after seeing this on Monday for my Film 202 I felt very connected to it. The film presents people from 1960's middle class France. We hear about their issues, and where they would like to be, and shockingly it feels a lot like America today.
The parallels are uncanny and watching it through today's US eyes makes it all the more intriguing.
