With an original and fascinating idea, a powerful story full of brilliant dialogue, amazing performances by Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell and Michael B. Jordan, fantastic directing by Josh Trank, incredible scenes and sequences, a scary mind-blowing climax and finale and a short but dynamic pace and flow, Chronicle is a film you can enjoy and learn from over and over again even though it starts out as a comedy in the beginning and becomes a hard movie to watch towards the end because of its strong themes and messages.
