Review of Christopher Robin (2018) by Cameron A — 15 Nov 2018
This is a daring family film, taking liberties and making a slightly darker and more-emotional picture. This may be it's downfall tonally, but the film's story and characters make up for the tonal uncertainties, with wonderful performances and a warm-hearted unercurrent (despite the darker moments).
It explores childhood and family in a unique way, and it blends great humour and the dramatic moments well to create a wholesome and well-crafted film.
