Review of Christopher Robin (2018) by Nicholas S — 06 Aug 2018
I am reviewing this after seeing the movie once, in theaters.
Going to see Christopher Robin is like slipping into an old coat you found at the back of the closet. It's warm and comfortable, almost exactly like you remember if not a little off from the time that has passed.
Christopher Robin brings us all back to the Hundred Acre Woods through the eyes of an adult. It does a beautiful job of reminding the viewer that as much as things change they always stay the same.
The voices are almost spot on the actors who were selected are very talented. The animation used to move the stuffed animals looks so much like magic you almost want to believe that children make the magic happen themselves just by being young.
This is a movie that should warm anyone's heart and will be enjoyed for generations.
