Review of Christmas with the Kranks (2004) by Logan T — 05 Dec 2011
A film that's message is very skewed with it's blatant condemnation of nonconformity. This idea is illustrated through the insane neighbors' reaction to the Kranks skipping the holiday. What was most disappointing was the ending that saw the Kranks caving in to their neighbors' demands by celebrating the holiday that they never even wanted to celebrate in the first place.
The story made me feel uncomfortable instead of more in the mood for Christmas. It's a terrible mess of a movie. And it's not even the slightest bit funny.
