There were some funny moments, but it was a bit flat in acting and presentation. Chuck Palahniuk seems to be really hit or miss, if you doubt that, please read Invisible Monsters -- one of the worst novels I have ever read.
It was a decent filler for a dinner movie, as it wasn't so important to pay attention to it. It wasn't terrible however, Anjelica Huston had some funny moments and did a good job.
