Review of Chocolat (2000) by James O — 18 Jun 2011
I loved this film. The stars give perfect performances, especially Binoche and Molina. Every tome I see this I feel like I just spent a little time in a real European town.
Chocolat deals with many things including superstitions, religion, domestic abuse, romance and of course, chocolate! The cast really carries the film, as it isn't the greatest screenplay. However, the beautiful scenery and on-screen chemistry among all the cast members makes it a favorite of mine.
