Although goofy when you look back at it, this is still a family classic. Gags, songs, and an out-of-place creepy character (what classic kid's film doesn't have one?) who will haunt your childhood dreams, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is an over-the-top, fun family film.

You kind of need to see it at a young age, because nostalgia is the only reason for repeated viewings (basically the same with every family film).
