Review of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) by Clayton R — 02 May 2012
Entertaining from start to finish and brilliantly timeless. Dahl adds his own twist to Flemings delightful spy classic, adding new characters and a playfulness suited for children of all ages. The car seems as desirable to ride as Caractacus Potts other marvellous inventions, and the characters and songs are like a living fantasy.
Technically, it's shoddy, and still a kids film, but still lovable none the less.
