Review of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) by Destiny L — 06 Jun 2012
I remember watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang- and being completely mesmerized, not only by the fantastic music, but the characters. Dick Van Dyke, and Sally Ann Howes. Not only did just these two make wonderful entertainment provisions, but also they made me want to watch the movie 24/7.
Even to this day, I know every character, every song, and every part. As I watch Chitty now, it's almost like stepping back into my childhood, and being in the car, and going to defeat the horrible Baron, and Baroness.
I used to feel the movie was so real. And today- that feeling has not changed- Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was, and will always be, on of my top 10 movies. It's not just the characters, or the music- it's how I felt the story was real, and how it's magic never fails to amuse, mesmerize, and enchant me to this day.
