I love this movie. I don't think it was fully appreciated when it was originally released. I watched this movie growing up, my kids watched it, and tonight I'm thoroughly enjoying watching my granddaughter's delight while watching this classic.
To capture the attention and thrill an 8 yr old child with a movie made 50 years ago is awesome! Still love watching Dick Van Dyke. Sure techniques and technology have changed by leaps and bounds, but the classics shine brightly to this day. Hope they always will.
On another note, I never realized Benny Hill was the toy maker! That alone is entertaining if you remember the Benny Hill Show. He was something.
