Not sure what people were looking for in this movie-- but relax- not every movie is going to win a Golden Globe- this movie was fun and didnt take itself too seriously. There is nothing wrong with low brow humor unless you go in expecting something else.
If I laugh out loud during a comedy...it has done it's job.
