The film gives you everything you expect from the trailer including the obvious buddy cop storyline you've seen before. There are some laughs to be had but not enough. There's also some nice action with Dax Shepard doing a lot of his own stunt driving.
It's not the worst film I've seen this year, cough cough Monster Trucks, cough cough The Bye Bye Man.
