Review of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022) by Mrdeven — 20 May 2022

Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable.

The cameos on display here are truly mind-boggling, but unlike a lot of other movies they actually serve a purpose to the plot. And speaking of plot, this movie rises above pretty much every other movie adaptation of beloved kids shows from the ‘80s by acting as a funny, scathing, unsettling and somewhat heartbreaking look at falling into irrelevance after fame in Hollywood, as well as the near-constant stream of IPs being reused for mass appeal over and over again.

All told, it’s kind of amazing Disney greenlit something like this.
