Review of Chinatown (1974) by Ryan G — 19 Jun 2011
It's an interesting enough story for most people, but I was not drawn in the entire time, I found it very easy to be distracted and just turn away on multiple occasions. I thought Faye Dunaway was awful in this film and Nicholson was nothing special either, in fact the acting is the worst part of the entire film.
Nicholson's best performance came about twenty years later in Sean Penn's "The Pledge" and his other was in "One flew over the cuckoo's nest".
