Review of Chinatown (1974) by Nate J — 22 Sep 2011
I would never have thought about watching this movie had it not been part of the AFI Top 100 movies list. The name is ridiculous in the sense that I had assumed it would be set completely in Chinatown.
It isn't however. Jack Nicholson stars and Roman Polanski directs, and it's a really enjoyable crime thriller. Nicholson is incredible throughout, and the whole thing is just a great piece of film.
It's not perfect so no 5* but a great film!
