Review of Chinatown (1974) by Horvath S — 22 Dec 2014
The writing is superb and the plot hits its message hard. It's classic material for sure but I found it just too dark for my taste. I've seen a lot of gloomy movies but this movie brought it to another level.
I can't say this movie has a high replay value, imo. Still, it's the best kind of noir and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this.
