While it isn't an awful film, it isn't a great one either, and has a lot of flaws. Despite this and the awful gore effects, though, the movie still has that child's play feel to it, which can be either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the audience.

Probably one of the most disappointing things about it is it's lack of originality in it's storytelling, as well as several big plotholes. Overall, the film is quite mediocre, and I really only recommend it to diehard fans of Chucky.
