Review of Child's Play 3 (1991) by Adam K — 20 Dec 2007
Child's Play 3 will once again follow Andy, this time as he is placed in Military School. This time though, Chucky has a new body, and as a result, his secret is once again exactly that, a secret. Chucky decides to reveal his identity to a small child, a child of one of the teachers. When Andy notices Chucky on the prowl, he does everything in his power to prevent Chucky from leaping bodies and "becoming a brotha".
Child's Play 3 marks the finale in the numbered entry in the series and with it the entries with any quality unfortunately. The dynamic of Andy chasing after Chucky rather than trying to get away is unique and the military school attitude constantly challenges Andy while he just tries to help out.
Definitely give Child's Play 3 a look, it's the weakest of the numbered series but still a good ride. This is Chucky the way he was meant to be seen.
