Review of Child's Play 2 (1990) by Horror F — 24 Jul 2014
What makes this a decent sequel for me is the continuation of young Alex Vincent's performance proclamation that Chucky is indeed alive and on a killing spree while the adults refuse to believe him.
By taking his character away from his mother and plopping him into a foster family the stakes are raised as Chucky is out to get him. Dourif makes Chucky have a personality that I don't think a lot of other actors providing a voice would have accomplished.
