Review of Child's Play (1993) by Jacob S — 05 Oct 2012
In retrospect, I wonder why I ever found this creepy as a kid. Sure, the idea of a knife-wielding doll is unsettling enough, but as I watch it now, Chucky is way more funny than he is scary. Overall, the movie is pretty ridiculous and doesn't really let you suspend your disbelief, yet I still found it fun to watch.
It's an entertaining, albeit messy film.
