Review of Child's Play (1993) by David B — 24 Oct 2017
The start of a ledgend, even if it is a little daft about a criminal sending his soul to a toy doll. It is a horror that has tounge in cheek but sometimes takes itself to seriously. The acting is ok but you don't really notice how bad it is, though Alex Vincent is crediable as the child who has a new "friend".
Not scary but a cool turn from Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky. It's a bit dated but a good old fansion horror. Chucky is now up there with the best. And now a franchise.
