Review of Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972) by Sean C — 07 Jun 2008
I've been trying to see this movie for a long time. I quite enjoyed it. The acting is terrible, but low budget, noise/synth music score, and the faded colour actually made the zombies rising from the dead pretty creepy looking.
That's what I love about grindhouse movies. While this is nowhere near as good as Deathdream or Black Christmas, it's in the right direction. Funny, in all three of those films you can hear the same screaming from Bob Clark.
I read the he was actually going to remake this movie himself, but due to his death in a road accident recently, I suppose that won't happen.
