This movie is pretty bad, even by Children of the corn standards. It must be said that there is no continuity with previous movies. Even viewed as a standalone straight-to-video B-rated movie (with expectations adjusted accordingly), this one fails completely.
While the sets are nice and the music is tense, the acting just doesn't follow. It is extremely poor; actually, the only decent performance comes from Naomi Watts playing Grace as the lead role. Also, the medicine vs.
religion theme is not rendered in a convincing manner at all. Finally, the storyline is irrealistic and full of plotholes.
