Review of Children of the Corn (1984) by Ryan V — 17 Dec 2011
This did for Midwest kids what Jaws did for kids living near an ocean. I cannot begin to describe how horrifying a drive from Northern Indiana to Indianapolis, using the back roads, was for me. Is this the highest quality in entertainment? No, but it's effective enough.
And it's one of those rare movies from my childhood that could scare the hell out of me then and still get pretty close to that now.
