Review of Children of the Corn (1984) by Don S — 20 Nov 2016
Ahh... Nebraska! Where He Who Walks Behind The Rows waits for you, if you are over the age of 19! So, um , don't go there my fellow adults! Alas, a young couple does, and whoa boy! Isaac and Malachai, played by super creepy young actors, await them, along with a town full of other kids!
This is still a pretty good movie, nice suspense, and very creepy soundtrack, with all that choral chanting and stuff! It does suffer from terrible dialogue between the couple and a fairly lame ending. But it'll sure give me even more creeps the next time I go to a corn maze, if I ever do!
(cute shout out to S. King by placing a copy of his book "Night Shift" on the dashboard of the car the couple drive along in!).
