Review of Children of the Corn (1984) by Rocknblues 8 — 27 Jan 2010
Children of the Corn is a horror film that I found amusing as a child and maybe slightly creepy. At the time, the child actors were like big cartoon bullies come to life. As an adult, it's hard to take this film seriously with all the terrible acting by Peter Horton and some of the child actors.
The truth is the best thing this film did was help Linda Hamilton land the role of Sarah Conner in the first two Terminator films. It's not a total loss.... It's just a 99% abysmal failure.
