Review of Children of the Corn (1984) by Michael O — 14 Jul 2011
Oddly paced and confusingly told, Children of the Corn is another hit-and-miss Stephen King adaption from the 80s. It doesn't look like it's from the 80s, though, with visual effects that seem to belong in the 60s or early 70s.
The premise is interesting, as always in King's stories, but the plot spins way out of control towards the end. Often understandably overlooked, but worth it in its own right. Only once, though.
