Review of Children of the Corn (1984) by Gaspar O — 09 Sep 2011
Pretty weak but the atmosphere & score of Children of the Corn sets me a @ little unease. As well that bubble that tares through the corn field freaks me out a bit. I originally saw this when I was 12 when I was reading a lot of Stephen King & truthful his short story is a piece of shit.
This movie is actually worlds better & that's not really saying too much. I like killer kids movies like The Children & The Devil Times Five & this one fits into the genre pretty well.
I don't know if there necessarily needs to be nine of these & I wonder if I'll end up torturing myself into watching some of them. Maybe part 5 because it has David Carradine in it.
