Review of Children of the Corn (1984) by Shiela E — 12 Oct 2011
Not bad at all. I have seen worse adaptations of king's stories for sure. might have been a bit more effective if it had ended more realistically in the couple's death as the short story did though.
after all, the numbers were against them. it was two (four if you count sarah and job) against many. of course it is true that the group was in confusion and disarray with the power struggle between isaac and malachi, and it is also true that if you discredit or take out a leader, many times, the followers just give up the fight.
hey, it worked for pizarro. anyway, it was okay, and john franklin was great-effectively creepy.
