Review of Children of Men (2006) by Rob A — 28 Oct 2013
Alfonso Cuaron's movie before Gravity is utterly brilliant. Fantastic story, well done on every level, and for film geeks it's filled with several long single-cut scenes that will astound you and make you ask, "How the hell did he do that?" I'd give it more than 5 stars for featuring Pink Floyd's pig balloon over Battersea from Animals, and for featuring King Crimson's Court of the Crimson King in the soundtrack.
