Review of Child 44 (2015) by Dailiesel M — 25 Jul 2015
Set just after the war a former Soviet war hero is now a police agent caught between his duty to party politics and his conscience. The film suffers from getting bogged down in side stories when concentrating on the main storyline would have benefited the pacing and overall composition.
The acting is particularly strong especially from Tom Hardy. Rental at most.
