Review of Child 44 (2015) by Jason S — 05 May 2015
Even if you can tolerate the hideous Russian accents, this film adds up to little more than a mediocre affair. Following a very promising opening, the film plods slowly along a path between political thriller and serial killer drama.
A step in either direction would have made a very interesting film but unfortunately it remains undecided up to and including its unsatisfying conclusion.
