I rushed out to watch this after Mark Kermode's rave review of it. Unfortunately, other than the occasional spells of excellent music, I found it largely boring and (big word of the day) insipid. The animation is, perhaps purposely, not exactly inspiring either.
I'm sure there will be plenty of people who love it, but it just wasn't for me.
