Review of Chicken Run (2000) by Catherine S — 14 Apr 2010
If all children in the world suddenly started hating stop motion films, they would still love Chicken Run. This timeless classic, about a flock of chickens wishing for freedom from their chicken farm, sets a historic landmark in the realm of films.
Its beautiful animation sets it apart from other films, and is loveable. The characters, all of them, are strong and vibrant in the form of personality. This easily could make the list of films you must see before you die.
It's that great. Stop motion films seem to garner great ratings from film critics to movie goers alike, and this does not fail other great pictures before it.
