Review of Chicken Little (2005) by Bryanbezter — 11 May 2020
Great things about the movie:
1. The story is amazing, a wonderful fable adaptation.
2. The world-building and character designs are gorgeous.
3. Great performances by Zach Braff as Chicken Little, Joan Cusack as Abigail Abby Mallard, Steve Zahn as Runt of the Litter, Garry Marshall as Buck Ace Cluck and Adam West as Ace.
4. The music is beautiful.
5. Perfect movie for family and kids.
6. Great lessons: communicative parenting and taking the right action.
7. Character development and roles are well done.
8. The humor and emotional aspects are perfect.
Messages from the movie:
1. Communication between parents and children are important. Spending times and playing together or just a simple chat could really improve connection and understanding.
2. Chicken Little chose to warn the people of the aliens in order to save his friends, even though it could jeopardize the people and his father's trust and pride after his recent victory. When the alien invaded, he did not give up and tried his best to save Kirby and put everything he got, because he knew that it was the right thing to do and he had the chance to do so. Some people might just give up, run away, or save themselves, but not Chicken Little and his friends.
