Review of Chicago 10 (2008) by Robert C — 26 Aug 2008
Although blatantly one-sided, this movie was very cool because of the awesome actual footage that the filmmakers used. Lots has been writen about the animation, which was used for the courtroom scenes. Personally I thought it was great because it allowed the director to make the movie without actors.
Another cool aspect is the fact that they used music from today as the soundtrack -- which worked really well.
Of course, like most every other book or movie about the 1968 convention, the police are incorrectly portrayed as nazi storm troopers. One day, someone will get this right. Sure, some were bloodthirsty but things were not so black and white. I believe the best story is missing, that's why I'm working on my own story. See ya at the movies in a few years!
