Chi-Raq is an endlessly creative protest anthem that's perhaps too discursive and fanciful, but with lively musical sequences, high-pitched drama, and dialogue written in epic-verse slam-poetry, it effectively and entertainingly repurposes the Ancient Greek play on which it's based.
