Review of Chi-Raq (2015) by Warren P — 12 Dec 2015

This is a spin-off of an old Greek story Lysistrata by Aristophanes. Hence, the lead character in the film bears the same name (smartly comes off urban and unassuming) In the original story, Lysistrata tries to end the Peloponnesian War by persuading the women of Greece to withhold sex from their lovers, as a means to negotiate peaceâ?? Replace Greece with modern Chicago and you get this Movie. Go Spike Go!
