Review of Cherry Falls (2000) by Michael D — 03 Jan 2008

Three stars for Brittany Murphy, the greatest actress alive, who alone rocks this extremely ridiculous supposed horror-comedy, which possesses neither decent plot nor decent script. In the first third or so, the killer is actually quite creepy, even if it is sort of taking the piss.

Further credit for the fast pace, and Michael Biehn. Although there are some fun scenes, particularly Murphy's insane fight with the maniac (where she realistically just throws loads of shit at him/her whilst screeching her face off).

Probably not worth watching unless you are in love with Brittany Murphy, as of course you all are...
