Chernobyl Diaries is without a doubt a terrifying movie. Once the action started going, it never really stopped, and it all had me overflowing with a feeling of hopelessness and dread. What I really liked about this film was that it didn't focus on "Boo! Gotcha!" scares.
It really keyed on what I love; spookiness and creepiness. The ending was a little too dark, but overall the movie was very well-made and acted.
