Review of Chernobyl Diaries (2012) by Nicholas L — 23 Nov 2012
Even though it effectively builds up tension and delivers a few thrills, "Chernobyl Diaries" is filled with bad acting, gimmicky camera work and characters making stupid decisions. It starts off slowly and after an hour without casualties, you know the ending will be a rushed, appalling mess. On the other side, the production values are good; you believe that is Chernobyl, it looks real enough.
It is a watchable, yet, forgettable movie.
