The film tries hard, but in the end it's too sweet. The plot seems to be taken out of Reader's Digest and the characters go nowhere. Going from cooking haute cuisine to frying ham and cheese sandwiches even if they're sprinkled with salsa hardly makes for a memorable film.
Bottom line: Undercooked.
