Review of Chef (2014) by Spiros P — 09 Feb 2015
If this film does not make you want to own a food truck or even make you crave unique food, I believe there may be something wrong with you. I experienced both of these feelings after watching "Chef", a movie in which a prominent Los Angeles chef quits his job and eventually launches a food truck in Miami with the intent of driving it back to LA.
The film is humorous, although it is not a "laugh out loud" kind of film, and the acting seems authentic enough. I felt that there were a few plot holes and unnecessary moments, but the film is enjoyable and the feelings that they invoke warrant a viewing.
