I'm not a fan of food porn in general, or of pretentious gourmet cuisine, so the lingering visuals in the early experimentation and restaurant scenes don't do much for me. But I find it impossible to dislike Favreau, and this is a fun, charming movie with likeable characters and some great dialogue, well delivered by a top-shelf cast.

I even liked Leguizamo. Refreshingly sedate performance from Vergara. But no 'with' for Dustin Hoffman, let alone an 'and'? Weak.
