Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Richard D — 27 Jun 2009
A really well put-together piece. The narrative is built elliptically, flashing between the war to topple Batisa's regime, and Guevara's famous UN address after the revolution. Obviously, it skirts around criticising Guevara (he is only shown ordering the execution of two villanous deserters) as it is based on his own memoirs, but as a piece of filmmaking, its a superior work.
