Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Aaron N — 04 Apr 2009
This is a biopic, yes, but an incredibly well-made one. One that makes you look at Che as a symbol more than a man. We don't get to know him. There's no voiceover,or long pages of dialogue. We see his actions, his skill, and his political beliefs in the face of defending them.
He is such a powerful figure. He stands for all who are oppressed. This isn't a film that will move you or make you swell up with emotions, but it is a film that can motivate you and learn from history.
I can't wait to see Part Two.
