Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Darren D — 19 Jul 2009
The man who has adorned thousands of T-shirts returns to the big screen in a tour-de-force film (the first of two) about the battles of the cuban revolution starting in the remote Sierra Maestra mountains of south-eastern Cuba and ending up in victory in Havana.
A flawless performance by Benicio del Toro in the main role and an amazing insight into what it was like to fight guerrilla style in the cuban jungle. Not to be missed.
