Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Marco P — 13 Jan 2011
Soderbergh's camera work isn't as fancy as it has been in other films (Traffic, Ocean's movies, Erin Brokovich) but it certainly knows how to tell a story. Only problem is it's too long a story to invest one's self in.
Let's be serious, no one wants to know every barrio or village Che went to. This whole movie (including part two) could've been condensed into one film. Props for Benicio, who really got the revolutionary's character down to a T.
